Applicants may be admitted to the Master's degree programs with advanced standing, under one of the following conditions:
- Applicants meet current admission requirements, and hold a post-graduate BLS degree or its equivalent, from a recognized university. Students in this category may be required to take additional courses if they lack certain requisite instruction
- Applicants have satisfactory standing in an undergraduate program, and have successfully completed graduate courses in programs equivalent to the University of Toronto’s MI and MMSt programs
Generally, MI applicants may have completed four graduate courses from elsewhere: MMSt applicants may have completed three graduate courses from elsewhere.
At least half of the courses towards the MI and MMSt degrees must be taken at the University of Toronto.
Each application for admission with advanced standing will be individually evaluated.
