About tuition fees:

  • Based on the length of the program to which a student is admitted
  • Administered by the University of Toronto Fees Office, also known as Student Accounts
  • Listed in detailed schedules at the U of T Provost's Office

About incidental fees:

  • Compulsory for all students
  • Separate from tuition fees
  • Applied to services and resources such as Hart House; the Graduate Students' Union; health services; and student councils
  • Set out in more detailed schedules at the Fees Office.

About the Student Technology Levy (Tech Fund):

  • A non-academic incidental fee, binding on all iSchool students
  • Used for upgrading iSchool technology
  • Voted on bi-annually by iSchool students
  • $100/year for full-time students;  $50/year for part-time students
