November grads - Intent to Convocate form opens August 1, 2012
If you have completed the requirements for your degree by the end of August 2012, you will be graduating at the convocation ceremony in November. The Office of Convocation has set November 12 - 16, 2012 for convocation dates. The specific date for our Faculty has not yet been set.
In order to be reviewed for graduation you MUST complete an Intent to Convocate form. This form will be available from August 1st to September 1st. The form opens on August 1st. Do not try to submit your name prior to that time.
Spend some time reading the information on the UofT Convocation website as most of your questions will be answered there. Pay attention to the deadlines for name changes, tickets, regalia on the graduation checklist (page to be updated by Office of Convocation).
Please note that even though you have completed your degree requirements in the summer session and intend to graduate in November, you will still see fee charges on your ROSI account. These charges will be removed from your account automatically once your degree recommendation is sent to SGS around October 1st. You do not pay fees for the Fall 2012 session but until you are assessed and cleared for convocation these fees are listed on your account. It may take a few weeks after October 1 to clear your account, so do not worry.
