OSAP and student loan applications - important changes for 2012-2013
The 2012-2013 OSAP application is available at osap.gov.on.ca. It is highly recommended that returning students apply as soon as possible to ensure that they will receive a Notice of Assessment before the start of classes.
Out-of-province Canadian students must apply for student loans through their home province. Check with Enrolment Services (formerly Admissions & Awards) for further information. Also, refer to these 10 helpful tips for an error-free OSAP application.
Important Changes
No more paper OSAP loan/grant certificates to pick up starting in September 2012! Provided you have qualified for OSAP and promptly submitted your Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement (MSFAA) to a designated Canada Postal Outlet, the University will now be able to confirm your registration via ROSI and OSAP will deposit your funds directly into your bank account when classes begin.
If you haven't already set up Direct Deposit in ROSI, take the time to do this now.
