Registration for returning students: fall 2012
Returning students do not need to come to Registration/Orientation day on Thursday, September 6th. However, if you need to submit the following two forms, you may do so:
- Emergency Contact Form - Please submit an Emergency Contact Form if your emergency contact information has changed
- Proof of Fees Payment - (e.g., Bank Receipt or Internet Banking print-out) only if you made your payment after August 31st
No more paper OSAP loan/grant certificates to pick up starting in September 2012! Provided you have qualified for OSAP and promptly submitted your Master Student Financial Assistance Agreement (MSFAA) to a designated Canada Postal Outlet, the University will now be able to confirm your registration via ROSI and OSAP will deposit your funds directly into your bank account when classes begin.
If you haven't already set up Direct Deposit in ROSI, take the time to do this now.
IMPORTANT CHANGE: Electronic Fob Access -- to the Bissell building, classrooms, and assigned areas
We have installed new, electronic locks for most doors in the Bissell building. Our new system uses electronic fobs for granting access to offices, classrooms, labs, common rooms, and other assigned areas. Your T-card will no longer provide access to these areas.
During the first few weeks of classes, please collect your personal fob from Student Services in room 211. You will need to provide a $20 deposit (cash or cheque). Your fob will be already programmed to grant you access to classrooms and other appropriate areas.
Should you lose your fob, please report the loss immediately to Student Services so we can cancel the lost fob and issue you a replacement. To receive a replacement fob, you must provide another $20 deposit. We will return your deposit when you return your fob at the end of your course of study.
For detailed questions or concerns, please email Glen Menzies (glen [dot] menziesutoronto [dot] ca) from your UTmail+ account and include your student number.
