Information Services Librarian - 4 positions
Current Opportunity: Information Services LIBRARIAN (4 Full Time positions)
Responsible for the provision of information services to the public.
Responsible for assigned collections.
Provides a broad range of information service to the public.
Prepares and submits budget estimates for assigned collections. Selects and maintains the collections within budget guidelines.
Develops and delivers programs as required.
Functions as person in charge.
Assists in the overall maintenance of branch collections.
Responds to basic circulation queries and problems. Refers unresolved issues to the appropriate area or supervisor.
Conducts library tours, as required.
Education: Master of Library Science or equivalent.
Work experience: 2 to 3 years practical experience.
Computer applications: Intermediate keyboarding skills and the ability to work with computer-based systems.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to perform all the job factors and job duties in a satisfactory manner.
Anticipated Start Date: November 2012
