Alumna chosen as Progressive Conservative candidate for Kitchener-Waterloo

Tracey Weiler (née Palmer) has recently been chosen as the Progressive Conservative candidate for Kitchener-Waterloo in the upcoming provincial by-election.

Tracey obtained her Master of Information Studies from the University of Toronto in 1999, and that year, was also awarded the FIAA Student Jubilee Award. She has been active in various professional and community organizations since then, including serving as director of FIAA from 2000-2004, director of the Canadian Library Association from 2002-2004, and serving on the Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce Women’s Leadership Committee since 2011.

Weiler has worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and RIM, supporting their Knowledge Management strategies, and managing various projects, and is currently a contract instructor in the MBA program at Wilfred Laurier University and management consultant.
