A Master of Information Studies (1997) graduate from the Faculty of Information, and one of our adjunct instructors, has landed the Chief Librarian position at the University of Toronto's Bora Laskin Law Library.

Each year, the Faculty of Information Alumni Association gives a Jubilee Award to a student and to an alumnus/a who have demonstrated an active interest in life at the Faculty and made a real contribution to the iSchool community.

Congratulations to graduating student Meghan Ecclestone and alumnus Dr. Alvin Schrader (MLS ’75), who are the recipients of the 2009 Jubilee Award. 

The Faculty of Information’s Alumni Association’s Annual General Meeting will be held Tuesday, June 23rd, at 5:30 pm at 140 St. George Street, Room 728. Everyone welcome to vote on our new executive.
 

If you graduated from U of T in a year ending in 4 or 9, head back to campus for your Alumni Reunion! The Faculty of Information Reception will be held on Wednesday, June 10th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at the University of Toronto Art Centre, 15 King's College Circle. Although honouring specific years, all graduates welcome!
