Preparing your personal statement

Be sure to take the time to proof your personal statement! Make sure there are no spelling errors and that is it relevant to your application to the iSchool. Generic personal statements are usually pretty obvious and it weakens your application.   It may help to read the statement aloud. Remember, this is your way of introducing yourself to the Admissions Committee.
